Dreamweaver and Woodware UK: Christmas in August

Yes! It's that time of year again! The time when we inspire crafters on both sides of the "pond" with a mix of both Dreamweaver and Woodware UK* products for the holidays! Six days, SIX, of beautiful, elegant, merry, cute, artsy, and craftsy projects to have you heading out to your local stores or internet sites to buy these goodies immediately!

Of course, there will be prizes as well. Three prize packages will be given to three commenters during this week's posts on the team's blogs, including five stencils and one nested die set. You can have an opportunity to win these goodies by leaving some holiday sweetness for each team member posting each day, to be one of the three winners for the week. Here are the team members that are inspiring you today:
Kristi Parker Van Doren (you are here)

Here is my post for today! I decided to do a scrapbook page.  I cut out the owl from Dreamweaver then used the negative rther than the positives of the die!  I backed the images with a coordinating paper.  Then I stamped the owl and colored it with color pencils and cut out the image.  I stamped the setiment on the actual page.  Add photo and flowers and I had a fun page with one of my favorite photos!  Here are some photos!
A closer look at the Die Cut image.

A closer look t the Owl stamp.

The finished page!

Back To School With CHA Designers

It is time again for the Designer Challenge Blog Hop!
On the side bar of this blog you will see the above icon.  Click on this to hop through what all of the designers have created using school supplies!  It is Back to School time and we wanted to inspire parents, teachers and students to get excited for school, so we have so fun projects!  I created an altered Art Journal cover!  Only seemed fitting!
I started with some more of Cool2Cast.  This stuff is addictive! Super easy to use and looks GREAT!!!
I used Color Solutions by Dreamweaver Stencils to color the leaves.  I coated them first with a little Diamond Glaze so I would have a nonporous surface.
I added paper and burlap on the cover.  I just like the images and the texture.
Papers are by Basic Grey/Graphic 45/Authentique
I also coated the entire cover with Diamond Glaze.  The glaze was still a little wet when the photos were taken but it will dry clear.
This is the entire front of the journal.  Ready for a budding artist to create.  My son is one such artist so I may need to do a different journal for him that is more young man and less MOM!
Don't forget to hop through all the designers blogs!  Leave some love!  Want to win some of the Cool2Cast leaves?  Leave me a comment and make sure I have your email.  I will do a random drawing once I have 20 comments!  Happy creating!
