Creative Blog Hop & Designer Blog Hop

This week my post is serving double duty.  I am taking part of a creative blog hop where different designs answer a series of question and also the Designer monthly hop!  The Designer hop has the theme of handmade thank you or Thanksiving ideas.  I did a couple of cards.  Listed below are the questions with my introduction of the designers that will be posting next Monday, the 10th!  Hope you like my creations and my answers.  Leave me a comment and let me know!

Thank you Larissa and Laura for thinking of me.  What a fun idea!  I love the creative process and the general idea of thinking outside the box and off the page!  So let's get to the qustions!

1. What am I working on?
I am working on a couple of projects. I am honored to be working for Connie Crystal, Ann Butler Designs and Dreamweaver Stencils. I am working on CHA projects for Connie and this months blog posts for the other two teams along with participating in some book reviews. One will be posted in just a couple of days for Cool2Cast!

2. How does my work differ from others in my genre?
I don't know that I differ that much from others, although I have been told I have a certain style. I just don't create with rules. Part of what I love is just putting things together and watching how they work. Some times it is a success and other times it is a "creative opportunity". There just are no rules ith me when I am creating!

3. Why do I write/create what I do?
I create because if I don't I think my head would explode! I love to see a project ocme to life and I love to share things I have learned so others can try or NOT do what I do! I also work a full time job and raise my kiddos so the creating and writing give me a bit of an escape. I just think it is so important to instill in the next generation the NEED to be creative. (now sharing/bragging with one of my son's creative works)

4. How does your writing/creative process work?
When I create just for me it is seeing something I want to change or alter and go for it. At other times it is from a challenge from a design team or theme presented to me. Dreamweaver Stencils has a monthly challenge and the designers create then invite the readers to play along. That is always fun. With Ann Butler Designs we have access to other products that work with her stamps/ink/paints etc. It is so fun and amazing to see what all the designers come up with. As for Connie, I love all things that BLING" so I love creating with her products. I really love her sheets of crystal that can be used in SO many ways! I also very rarely draw out or plan out what I am doing. I just start and see where the project takes me. I fail to plan but rarely have a project fail! (See Craft Fail by Laura Mann...awesome fun)

Hope you have gotten some useful information from the questions. Let me introduce who you will be hopping to next Monday, the 10th!
