Stampendous and Dreamweaver Blog Hop

Pin ItThis is my first post back as an official Dreamweaver Team member!  What fun start with a Stampendous Cross Promotion!  Welcome to another "Dream-Pendous" week of inspiration! The Stampendous team and the Dreamweaverteam are collaborating once again with all the fun toys in both team's arsenal. Of course, as usual, there will be great prizes available for those who comment throughout this week. In face there will be three prize packages available to win. Each will have a great selection of Dreamweaver Stencils and Stampendous images and dies...one of which being the new "Blossom Beauty" face image as shown on the badge above.

This is my finished piece! So my supply list is as follows:
WorldWin Cardstock
Glossy White Cardstock
Color Solutions from Dreamweaver
Damask Stencil
White Embossing Paste
Several colors of Art Glitter
Face Stamp and Floral Stamp
Sakura Glaze Pens
Crystal Sheet from Connie Crystal
Glossy Accents
Pop Dots
Brilliance Ink from Tsukineko
Step 1: Make color background with glossy paper and Alcohol Ink.
Step 2:  Secure stencil to paper and spread paste.  Remove stencil then sprinkle with glitter colors of choice. Let dry.
Step 3: Stamp face with Brillance Ink.
Step 4: Stamp Flower and Die Cut out with matching Die.

Step 5: Color areas desired with glaze pens
A closer look.  With the shimmer paper under the Glaze Pens it really looks pretty
I layered the face on the background and trimmed everything to fit.  I did pop up one eye and added the Connie Crystal sparkle to one eye and the flower center.  I like it really well and hope you enjoyed this as well.  Now HOP on to the other blogs!  Please leave a comment at each stop along the way.

Happy Creating!
 Kristi

  20. Very pretty. The flower really becomes the focal point of the project. It is colored so nicely. the face is plain and flat - which assists the flower in becoming the main ingredient. Great job.
