I am lucky enough to be working with Tombow on a fun project!
Since its launch in March, more than 60 of my fellow crafting bloggers have joined forces in contributing to this amazing movement in crafting and scrapbooking history. Each of their projects have contributed to Tombow’s goal of donating up to $10,000 in product to the Council for Art Education and have been featured worldwide on social media outlets such as Pinterest, Facebook and
Scrap Time - Ep. 868 - 100 Days of Tombow
Christine shows a couple of techniques using pencil crayons and markers from Tombow.
So this is one project that was recently featured in CardMaker Magazine!
This card was created with double stick paper, microfine transparent glitter from Art Glitter, stickers and Tombow markers. The secret is to burnish the glitter to make it feel smooth as silk! It loves to accept the color from the markers! It is so fun!
This is another card done with the same technique! Love the leaves and add the Happy Autumn! This is a Dreamweaver Stencil Pear that I used Translucent paste over then used Art Glitter while the paste was still wet. I then let it dry. I then colored the pear with the fabulous Tombow Markers! But there are a few more steps....
Base layer is done with double sick paper, stencil and glitter.
This is the Double Glitter Technique!
Burnish the Glitter WELL
Remove stencil and add your second color of glitter.
color with your markers
Replace stencil and use the paste!
Cover the paste with Crystal Glitter
You can leave it this way but why when you can add MORE color!
I finished this with some Graphic 45 paper and embellishment!
