Final Post for Christmas In August

So sorry this photo is a bit blurry!  This s the GREAT background stencil that matches the awesome Christmas tree from last winter.  I used the double glitter technique and just added, very carefully, one color at a time!  I  think it came out pretty well.

Final Day for the Blog Hop


All of this week, the Dream Team and the Woodware UK teams are celebrating the release of the new holiday designs from Dreamweaver Stencils. Of course, no celebration is complete without prizes...and there are some fabulous ones for those commenting on both sides of the "pond".

Each team will be providing the opportunity to win four prize packages of stencil designs, perfect for the holidays. Just leave your comments each day on each players' post as well as the Dream It Up! and Woodware UK blogs, and the Dreamweaver and Woodware Facebook pages. Two random commentors will be chosen from the batch of weekday posts, one each from the DW and WW Facebook pages, and from the big hop on Saturday...from each side of the pond!* That's a total of eight prize packages up for grabs! I am going to share another double glitter card using the LJ923 Mittens AND LJ922 Background stencil. First I used the background stencil with the multi color glitters from Art Glitter. I just go crazy and filled in the colors I wanted and when the stencil was removed, I filled in with Crystal glitter!  I then traced the mittens on the back side of the paper and cut them out.  I attached them to the card front.  And the SUPRISE CARD  ... we usually make a birthday cake for Jesus in our house.  I know that not everyone believes as I do, but this year Jesus is getting a card with His cake!  This is a bonus card with Art Glitter and Dreamweaver Stencils!
Something we remind our children of EVERY year...Jesus got 3 gifts for Christmas and it was blended with his birthday...why do they think they are better than Jesus???  (Both children and myself have December birthdays. te he he)  Merry Christmas and Happy Birthday Jesus!

I am going to do a nice simple double glitter card for this hop!  When we got the new Christmas stencils all I could think of was glitter.  Imagine my joy when I discovered I was to use glitter in my Christmas Creations!  So here is one of the cards I did with this CAS (clean and simple) double glitter!
 

I used several colors of glitter on this design and let each color fall off to the side.  I love the sparkle and feel like going ice skating! Check out the rest of the blogs for the hop today and join me on Saturday for a "suprise" type of Christmas Card!

More Christmas in August

Another Double Glitter Christmas Card!
This is another one of the NEW stencils from Summer CHA!  I used my friend Laura's TRIPLE glitter and on the mittens used chunky glitter first then fille din with more fine glitters!  I love all the glitter from Art Glitter!  You can find the stencil on line at Stencil with Style!  Happy Shopping!

Dreamweaver Christmas In August Challenge

I am so excited to get to post CHRISTMAS CARDS!  I don't mind the heat so much but I love Christmas!  I have more Christmas Stamps and Stencils than anything else!  LOVE the season and all that goes with it.   So we are having Christmas in August Challenge for Dreamweaver this month and below is the prize for the the challenge winner!  Play and win! 

My first post is using this stencil.  I love DOUBLE GLITTER TECHNIQUE!  So here is my finished card for the day.

I did an 5 X 7 Card (A7) size.  I love the larger size!  I used some Dazzlers, Ultrafine Glitter and Microfine Glitters.  The "white" glitter is actually Crystal Glitter!  I used two tones of green, twig and various pink!  LOVE the softer colors!  All Glitter is from ART GLITTER!!!

Sorry it is blurry but you can see a bit more of the detail color.
I LOVE the way the branches came out!
