Dreamweaver Thursday

I am so happy that we can finally reveal some of the new designs JUST OUT!  I am in Missouri and feel like we are floating away so I am sharing a card that speaks to me loud and clear this week!
This is a card I recently taught at my local store Scrapbook Generation.  The saying is my Nikki Sivils! The "rain" is Goosebumps by Tsukineko!  Awesome texture spray!

This was the original version I reworked for the class.  I added the Dreamweaver sentiment, which mirrors my own right now!  I blocked off the part of the card I did not want the raindrops on and then glittered the umbrella!

This is the cute turtle on Nikki Sivils paper!  I think he is the cutest!  He comes in several sizes which is GREAT to carry a theme through a project!

All the paper in my projects is provided by Worldwin Papers!

Now if it would just stop raining and give me some sun shine!

Dream Scheme Thursday with Dreamweaver Stencils

This week is a sketch challenge.  Feel free to play along and go to Dreamweaver's blog to let us know you are playing.  Other than the pattern paper, all cardstock is from Worldwin.  Love the Petallics line!

I used some fun paper but I have also discovered Goosebumps by Tsukineko!  I posted a few days ago on Cutting Above using this great spray as a texture.  Here I have used it as a resist on the bamboo background.  I sprayed the stencil with the Goosebumps then placed it face down on the paper.  Once dry I used some of the vivid colors of Memory Mist sprays and buffed off.  I love the soft look it gives.  I then used a mixture of gold/pearl paste on the butterfly.
I stamped the phrase by spraying some of them mist on wax paper and dipping the stamp in the blended colors.  I had to stamp it off a couple of times but I love the result.
I finally took a closer up shot so you can see the GREAT texture on the bamboo background!

Happy Creating!

Late this week...Is it Dream Scheme Thursday Already! LOL

I was early last week and late this week.  Proof that the busier you are the more you get done! I am using a project that I had made and just love!

This is an altered journal using a composition book as the base.

Close Up Detail!
I used the wonderful rose stencil with gold leaf.  The vase is a different stencil cut out of WorldWin Treasures.I then used glitter and the leopard stencil over the vase.

I applied some double stick tape by La D'ore to the spine and added more leafing.  Love the torn edges, the leafing an adding the stamps in for fun!  And of course......BLING!!!!

Hope you all have a very creative day!

I am so excited to say that WorldWin Papers is now sponsoring me! I love these GREAT papers with so many different paper lines. The newest is a great line called Cut Mates! These paper are made just for the purpose of die cutting! Love it. I have been in love with DoubleMates for years. This is a two sided paper with NO white core. Great for all your rough edge/torn projects. Treasures are a great line as they are slightly textured, but still great to stamp on. Many other textured papers just have too much texture and this makes it difficult to stamp on. WorldWin Papers offers an exceptional collection of scrapbooking, card making and paper crafting papers, like smooth card stock, clear vellum, metallic, decorative textures, and envelopes called Crop Mates. This is in addition to ColorMates!  They are such a great quality and I find the price point a bit more reasonable than some card stock out there.  I am excited that the new line is Grunge Mates! The papers I am showing in the following projects are Treasures and Petallics and a mirror stock!  The images and patterned paper are by KANBAN...

It don't mean a thing if you don't add the bling!

Happy Creating!

Dreamweaver Thursday...Early Post!!!

Hello all.  Today is Dreamweaver Thursday!  Today is a color way challenge and I got to pick the colors.  Inspired my my dear friend Pam Carriker I chose yellow and teal.    I am not sure the rest of the design team is as enthused and I am! LOL  Sorry guys but it really is pretty and a lot of the new trends are putting these colors together as well.   I used pattern paper from My Minds Eye and solid papers  by Worldwin!  I also did not do a card, I did a two page scrapbook layout.  My design team buddy Wendy likes how I use pattern papers with stencils so I did a bit of that too.  I am also back to glitter and bling this week!!! Great to be back!!!

This is the two page spread.  I still have to do the journaling part but it is from the adventures for the last couple of weeks.  The production of Hello Dolly at Evangel University in Springfield, MO!  Pictured are some of the cast and the amazing costumer Casey July...(and new FRIEND).

But I love these owls and these kids are a "HOOT"!

Added a bit of the flourish in the corner for some texture.
And glitter of course!

I also love this photo with the caption!  This is Dolly!

The ribbon is sewn on by Casey.  Cool double needle zig zag! and the other is stitched on as well.  I then faux stitched around the owls.

Hope you all like my weird color combo!  I love it!

Supplies used:
Worldwin Papers
Spellbinders Owl Nestabilities
My Minds Eye pattern paper
ribbons and other embellishments by My Minds Eye.
