What fun to think spring! I am ready. So I broke out the pretty bright paper and made a fund card using my Cuttlebug! I love the embossing folders and the fun things you can do using this great product. I also had some fun bright mirror cards stock and fun paper with GREAT words to attach. Add a little bling and brads and this is what you get! Hope you all will enjoy this card and THINK SPRING!!

This is another beautiful card created by my good friend Lucy! She has so much fun creating and is getting a chance to create more often now. This is a card using one of hers & my favorites by Hero Arts. It is a simple sentiment yet expresses so much. She has used a combination of fun papers with a great design and added either ribbon on one side or a different paper. It is lovely either way. What a joy to have such a creative person as a dear friend. Thank you for sharing your art with me my friend! Love you!

Well, it has been a little over a week and still not feeling well. How is it that a cold can grab you so fast and is soooooo long to leave. In the meantime, I have a cool card with an Asian feel. I used flattened bottle caps to make the background for the medallion stamp. I love layering so have layered the koi image on a solid brighter color. I painted the koi image with Twinkling H2Os. I also stamped the bamboo background stamp on a lighter green papers and edged the layer with Krylon Pale Gold. I added a darker green paper layer and mounted all layers on a black base card. It is a great card for thinking of you or a thank you note.
Hope you all are feelng great and hope I will be better soon! I hate having colds!!!
(All stamps used are by Prickley Pear.)

So here I sit on a Saturday morning trying to get motivated. Not doing to well in that department! Any way, thought I would share a necklace and earring set I made just for me! I rarely do that but this is one I really love and it goes with a variety of options! I love swarski crystals! I wish they were much more affordable, but such is life! LOL So I have been trying to figure out where to go from here. I need more blog followers and need to decide what is the best option for me. I should be doing more within the industry, just need to figure out what! Thanks for listening! Suggestion? Email me at firstname.lastname@example.org! Hugs to all!

I loved making this card. I used a fun backgroud technique and then layered the stamped images on top. This once again shows my love for shink plastic. Hope everyone is having a restful and creative day. I am trying to get rid of a cold so need to get my rest. Nothing worse than a cold...just enough to make you miserable and not bad enough to keep you from working! LOL

I am sooooo tired of winter! I am thinking of spring and new life and pretty colors. This is a fun baby card I did with a couple of Prickley Pear stamps. I love when I can use a a stamp as both background and focal point. Add a little extra touch of buttons and shrink plastic and you get a fun baby card. Hope you all enjoy this card.
And on a little bit of a different note and but still the same...we have new puppies at our home! We had NO clue the were coming but they are darling. Enjoy these photos of them!

This is really fun card my friend Lucy made. She has been on a roll! She came for a visit last week and this is one of the great cards she brought to show me. I love the way it has the fun flaps on the from and all the embossing. The bottom layer is Basic Grey Embossed Vellum and the she used the Cuttlebug to do the other embossing. It really came out GREAT!

This is a card I made the other day with Valenine's Day in mind. All stamps are by Prickly Pear Rubber Stamps. I used a cuddlebug folder to emboss the swirls that match the cool design of the stamp. Of course I accented in GLITTER!! I used several ink colors and blended them on the stamp. I think this may be the card for my hubby this year, unless of course I change my mind! Hope you all are having a creative day! Happy Stamping...Kristi
