I have been playing with the new stencils from Dreamweaver and spending time outside at the pool with friends so have not updated as much as usual. I can't wait for everyone to see the great releases from Dreamweaver! They are way cool and I am so blessed to be part of this VERY talented design team. I have added all the "Dream Team" blogs to links to follow and am reworking my links to make it easier to follow them as well.

I am also getting excited! I will be teaching/speaking in Topeka, Kansas again this fall. October 1st & 2nd we will be having a great time raising money for Midland! For more information please click the link to the right...Memory Expo 2010. I am going to be teaching a variety of projects/classes/demos and am very excited.

As for other creations. The project above is just a fun item from my archives but I have not posted on this blog yet. Hope you enjoy.

Last...Tentative Date Set for The Crop & Shop 2011! April 1st & 2nd...no fooling!

Off Topic!

I so could not help myself. I went to Silver Dollar City yesterday with some friends. We had a great time and hit all the rides. This was the last ride of the day. In the very back is the mom of the two kids in the very front. The next gal in orange is one of the preteens that will be going to camp. All seem to be having a great time until.......little Karen. All I have to do is look at this picture and just start laughing. She was fine for the entire ride then saw the drop. She was fine as she got off the ride. Talk about a Kodak moment. This one is GREAT! Enjoy

Last Night of VBS

Working with the kiddos is such a hoot. I wanted to share with the wonderful background for photos that one of our members painted. He is an amazing artist not to mention just all around nice man. His wife is helping me in crafts! YAY! Our theme has been Saddle Ridge Ranch! This Brad Duke with his masterpiece and then my dear hubby in front of the master piece!

Work In Progress

I am a work in progress! I am working on Vacation Bible School this week, pulling things together for the crop in Topeka, KS October 1 &2, trying to work on my house, listing things on Craig's List and just trying to keep my head above water! We also have family reunion this weekend. It will be great to see the fam but it is a crazy week! I did have time to play just a little...

Preteen Crop 2011

I have gotten such great feed back from the crop. I am already starting on some things for next year. I am hoping to have it in April of next year and then keep the date for every year following. I want to raise money for the kiddos and we don't ever turn a kiddo away that shows they are responsible enough to go to camp. No one is kept from going to camp because of financial reasons.

Thank you again to all who donated or attended or worked or did anything to help with this event!

Keep your eyes peeled for information as it becomes available!

Happy Creating

More on the crop!

Kim Hupke, Education Director for Spellbinders, is teaching a cool stand up mini frame while two of the preteens are amazed! We had such a great time and were so happy Stacey and Kim came by. The girls were happy and so very helpful. So I have been trying to figure out how many $$$ worth of stuf we gave away and including the goody bags I think we had more than $2,000 in giveaways and way more than that including the silent auction items!

We raised over $1,000 for the kiddos and we had tons of fun!!!

I will make sure and post some new projects soon on here. For now...time to get some rest!

Good night!
Happy creating...Kristi

Tired and Amazed

All I have to say is "wow" Thank you all who made this event a huge success! Some of those included are pictured above. Stacey Caron (seated) owner of Spellbinders Paper Crafts came to see us for a bit and gave very generously. One lucky cropper left with a brand new Wizzard! Thank you so much Stacey. Kim Hupke(far left) did a make and take using the Wizard and it was adorable. Karen Taylor (far right) brought tons of cool stuff from Nikki Sivels and did a great make & take...notice the cool pin she is wearing!
The biggest thanks to all who attended and the great generosity. The preteens that attended and helped made a huge impact and I have never been more proud of the kiddos!
I will post more photos later but I need SLEEP!!!
Thank you to anyone who had even the smallest part to do with this event and God above all that blessed this event.
Good night all!
