Another Creation

Well Happy New Year a few hours early.  Hope everyone had a great Christmas.  I have had a very nice Christmas season and am looking forward to ringing in 2010 at church with friends and family.  I am getting ever closer to getting my etsy store up and running.  I will have the necklaces to start with and then add other altered art, cards and other items as I go.  The necklace I last posted sold so that was awesome!  I found some of these beads in Rolla, MO at the Mineral & Bead shop!  So worth the trip! I love the white beads as they are hollow and I string an extra bead inside each.  I even used a fun clasp with rhinestones!  Again, Happy New Year!   Kristi

This is antoher of my creations.  So into the necklace mode right now.  Love this one as it has amethyst and soem other cool beads.  I had everything labeled and then they all got moved so no longer have the list!  Oh well!  I like this necklace as it has no focal bead but is nice and simple.  Hope to get all of these posted for sale in time for Valentines day.  I am sure no one will have cash in January!  Again, all necklaces are posted on Facebook.  If you like one just ask and I will give details and prices!  Hope everyone has a great Christmas!

I'm back I think!

Well, the play at church is over and went really well so I am hoping to post more frequently again!  It has been insane.  I have been on the making jewlery kick as of late! I am hoping to have an ETSY store soon to sell these, cards, altered art and so much more.  Does anyone have feedback on whether it is better to do ETSY or to try ebay with a min amount?  Anyway...back to the necklace, I use all glass, simi precious or unique beads in all of strands.  The focal on this necklace is a slice of geode and then have adorned it with a stenciled butterfly and glitter.  This is a longer hanging necklace as the quartz geode is larger.  I also love the the pink hollow beads to string a second bead inside of each.  This has been a great way to still create even with a very busy schedule!  I am sure some people will find a necklace in their stocking!  Keep Creating!!! Wow!

I have been a bit lax about posting as of late!  Sorry about that.  I have been helping to paint the set for ouor church Christmas play.  I do not know why it is a "play" when it is soooooooo much work!  LOL   It is going to be fun and I hope many people come to see it.  December 10/11/12/13 at 7 p.m. @ Macedonia Baptist Church...3110 W Sunshine in Springfield, MO!  Once the set is all done I will be taking photos to post of all the art work.  I really has been fun but I am so tired.  I will also be posting some cards and necklaces soon.  Actually...I am going to post a Christmas card made by my buddy Mary!  She is an awesome artist and is one of the owners of Prickley Pear Rubber Stamps.  Hope you enjoy this pretty card!
